So my services were originally hosted on an Almalinux VPS from Greencloud, but I found a neat trick online to install openbsd even on VPSs that don’t officially support OpenBSD or custom ISOs.
The method
It’s extremely simple, I could’ve thought about it myself if my brain worked properly! All you really gotta do is boot into the rescue system that your VPS provider gives you and download and flash the openbsd installer image from there to the root disk. Then you simply just exit the rescue system and install openbsd like you normally would.
p.s. you need to have a console or vnc connection to your server for this
